Tea Party's and Protests.

I love how on CNN last night, the reporters were discussing the buzz of energy that they felt from covering the Tea Party's. The fact that they understood it was a movement and that those who were not actively involved in what is going on in this country are really missing out.

I myself have said the same thing for years. Even Rush Limbaugh has sounded the horn on this one and decided that we should take it to the streets.

All of this angst and protesting for lower taxes and to send a message to Obama, that he's not doing the job everyone was fooled into believing he would do.

But where were these protesters when my families rights were being voted on?

The hypocrisy of this all is that when it is an issue that a person disagrees with, others involved are called radical extremists that are unpatriotic.

But let me tell you all something....

Change never took place by keeping ones mouth shut.
There is nothing unpatriotic about exercising your civil liberties.
and
No, the government is not always right.

I hope that those in the streets stay there and fight for more than just lower taxes.

Stand up when you disagree and let the world know! After all, we are just cocky American's who believe we should have it all our way, aren't we??
